We also have alot of forrest rides here. I guess I should try with snake wire, and that see if I need further modification.

I must admit i do have quite some experience in bending the brake pedal... dropped it many times and I used to carry a large adjustable spanner:

adjust the beak to the width of the plate and bend it as you like...

... but a while ago I fitted a brake snake I never needed it since no matter how violence the crash was.

Looks promising, I will definately put the wire on the bike, since I found here are some good experience with it.

Yeah I have done my best to straighten it but It was hard work! Its a bit high still for sitting on the seat but a better position for riding standing up, I fitted a brake snake today too. Thanks for all the advice fellas!!
