how do you fit a 02 sensor eliminator?

JMo 14-08-11 21:12

Unscrew the sensor from the header pipe and screw in the blanking bolt.

Unclip the end of the sensor wire from the loom, and fit the blanking plug.

Erm, that's it!

Of course you probably are doing this in conjunction with other engine mods (airbox, exhaust, powercommander AIS removal?), so it's best to get it set up on a dyno to maximise the potential improvements...

The point of fitting an O2 eliminator is so that the ECU is not constantly trying to adjust the fueling, based on what the O2 reading is.

Once it is removed from the circuit, you can more accurately set up the fuel-injection with the Power Commander - you don't have to remap, but it is best to get it set up on a dyno get the best programme for your bike.
