Just got my new XT660X

Just went and pick up my new XT660X yesterday :) I had Akrapovic titanium slip-ons put on the bike. Do I need to change the fueling maps or something like that for this set up? This is my first XT, I've had 2 other bikes, XVS 650 and a FZ6R and there is something bothering me that did not happen on the other bikes. Yesterday when I left the dealership I stopped at a stop sign, I blipped the throttle and the bike just stalled. The same thing happened when I arrived home, waiting for the garage gate to open, blipped the throttle and the engine just died.

Is this normal or should I worry and take it back to the dealer do see what is wrong?

Appreciate the help,

Freakyfreak

Make sure your idle speed is set to 1500rpm when the motor has warmed up.

Thanks Kev will try to do that. How do I check the idle speed on the digital display?

Switch off Engine Run switch, switch OFF Key switch. Press both SELECT & RESET buttons and then switch ON Key switch. Keep SELECT & RESET buttons pressed for at least 8 seconds. Display then changes to "DIAG". Release SELECT & RESET buttons.
Select CO1 mode by pressing the SELECT button.

Once selected CO1, switch on the kill switch & crank the motor. Once started the rev counter should be in the right side of the LCD screen

Here is the way!
