Leaking brake fluid reservoir
 

Had my front break pads replaced a week ago and now I've noticed the fluid reservoir has a small leak. I wonder is it too full or could a seal have failed?

It sound to me, as though the piston has been pushed back without the cap being removed, and the fliud is just venting out of the top of the reservoir.

Best to take of the cap and remove some fluid (cover the area with rags first though!)

Make sure you wash off all the external brake fluid with water when the reservoir is closed.

That's exactly what happened I watched the guy do it. Right sorted I'll remove some fluid and see how it goes. Cheers.
