Wheel balancing
tyre change coming up, back tyre getting changed and its been suggested that i save the money and dont bother getting it balanced. im apprehencive about this so was wondering if anyone could head me in the right direction?
thanks a lot, Techno pig :Gangsta2_9BI664: |
I never get weights on my rear when they fit tyres. Not my choice, I just don't get any.
The front always has weights after a tyre fit. I'd like to know also, is the rear deliberately not balanced? |

I never balance the rear whell. Simply because it doesn't really matter that much. An unbalanced rear wheel will not have any noticable effect on how the bike behaves. Once you start to notice it you'll already have some serious dents in the rim.
Never did it on any of my bikes, not the TDM, not the Divvy, not the TRX track bike... |
