Does it cover the 2011 ABS model?

NO! It definitely states that at the front.

Most of it will be the same, just not the some of the electrics, ABS system, battery location and forks. So it's not a total disaster!

It is really nice to see instructions that take into account things don't quite work as simply as the Yamaha manual would have you believe and offer viable real-life solutions.]

Thanks for your impression, Pleiades. On the strength of your quote above, I ordered one, even though I have a factory book. Cool.

Got one a few weeks back off Fleabay. Very happy with it. Nice to have the electronic version but also good to have the Haynes view as weel. Using both it seems to me any job is possible.

I have always used Haynes manuals but have to say that currently this new XT one is by far my cleanest (at the moment).

Ebay is cheaper than anywhere else at the moment.

I ordered mine from FB too. Good price from USA. Now I've just got to hope it arrives...:115:

Got mine yesterday, thru AmazonUK. As there are no major changes between the 08 and 09 models, besides colours&saddle, there will be no problem using this manual. Looks good so far! http://dallastx.smugmug.com/Motorcyc...6200004-XL.jpg
