stumpydave 25-04-11 18:47

I know jealousy is a terrible thing but every time i read one of your posts i feel the same. And every time it starts the same conversation with mrs stumpydave, " whats the possibility of us moving to scotland love?? "

I've moved about quite a bit, born in India, lived in Lancashire, New Zealand, Shetland and now on the mainland of Scotland and never felt more at home mate. At one point we had 16 different addresses in 9 years, but kids and age have caught up on me now.:icon_biggrin:

Questions that began "how would you fancy moving to................." is how it all started!

Morven / Glen Fenzie - just north of Ballater, wild but not far from civilisation.

jimmysimpson 25-04-11 22:16

I must get round to putting up more jealous type photos guys. Ian only puts up a fraction of them. Just to make you more jealous off course. lol.

ah right over towards the east coast.Thought that i`d check in case it was local to me over on the west coast, and I was missing out!! :)

Can I also ask what handguards you are using? Are they TTs? They look perfect to what i was looking for. How do you find vibs when removing stock end weights?

jimmysimpson 26-04-11 00:33

Which bike ? The black one or the red one ?

Aye, TTs on the red bike and Yam on the black - I went for the TTs for the weather protection rather than the strength but having said that they are pretty sturdy. I did notice more vibes straight after fitting but it can't have been that bad or I have just got used to it I suppose. I certainly wasn't forced to take them off. Two minute job to fit.
Must get over your way this Summer - used to spend some time over the West visiting Salmon farms with my work - love the roads over your way and of course the stunning scenery - remember one new years eve being stuck in the pub somewhere around Otter Ferry, the roads were blocked by fallen trees. Made it out in the darkness along the coast road (unfortunately!) dodging rocks washed up from the shore line. Woke the next morning to find half the roof missing from the lodge we were staying in. Loved it!

Good luck - book a holiday cottage with a view, light a wood fire, pop a cork on a bottle of good wine .............just thought, I think its called romance - never was good at that!
Aye you get the picture - next thing you know the house is on the market, and the bags packed.

jimmysimpson 26-04-11 23:33
