Not specifically. But your RFL reminder tells you if you need it to tax your bike. Che k your V5 for the first registration date.

Had the reflector and smallish number plate problem with the BKing but the dealer stuck on a reflector and a large number plate onto the one that was on and issued me with two certificates, a fail and a pass. Seems odd you have to take it back?

Yeah, I thought it was a bit mean too! Never mind, it's an excuse for another ride out! :118:

Hi all
Took mine in for it's MOT and a resounding fail! Excessive play in the shock linkage. With the bike on the centre stand the rear wheel can be lifted a good 5mm +!

Just passed - it actually failed but the guy put some extra brake fluid in rear and adjusted my high beam so passed well happy as i had a voucher so only 24

just need to get some new rear pads 10 and maybe put on a braided rear line for 24 HEL

with that all done and the fact I had the oil for the service I rekon my Bike has just cost me about 250 all in for service MOT Insurance and road tax for the next 12 months :) very happy indeed

fingers crossed no more hiccups

Had mine done today, three years old this September and all is well, the whole process took all of fifteen minutes and cost 25 (is that too much).

There are still one or two of us out there with original 2008 bikes (me, JMo, TenereDoug I can think of) , and from next month these will be coming up for the MOT Test....

I'm curious to know if any of them get fails, or advisories, and what for?

Mine is booked in for the end of May and I don't anticipate any issues, but you just never know.

Me too unless someone buys it. Passed no probs back in June but then it had been sat in a garage for two years.

Just wondering if there is an emissions test as part of the MoT for bikes registered '08 and later.
