Hi, My single can arrived just after 4 days since I ordered it here on the forum. Thanks CaptMoto! I have installed it yesterday and I love the look of it on my bike. Sound is really juicy and much louder than stock pipes. I have already check their durability in off road conditions and it seems that it is protected by the rear grips during falls.

Happy Christmas to me............... Happy Christmas to me!

Mine arrived this morning CaptMoto.

You weren't kidding ........................it is quite a lot louder than standard pipe. The motor picks up nicely now from 2000 revs and is smooooth all the way up the revs.

ALOT less than the OE can. I never put it on a scale but to say you can easily lift the MTC cans with one hand, where the OE can requires two.

The single can kicks out 90db at 3000 revs, and although it sounds louder, it's still within the noise limits should you be stopped by VOSA (who don't need any excuse to stop you). On the bike the noise is louder, or appears to be, but for riders following it, I have it on good authority that it doesn't sound too loud.

Nope, they are plastic, with an alloy sheet over the case. The fastening mechanism is all plastic and will sit next to the can. However not alot of heat comes from the side of the can so it 'might' be OK. The contents of my ZegaPro's don't get warm so I can't see there being enough heat to melt the OE panniers.
By the sounds of it, you don't have the panniers yet? If that's the case, I'd opt for something more robus. I've had the OE panniers, now I have ZegaPro's.

mr fish, look I am selling these at the price dictated to me by MTC, I have no power as to what they do with their own products on ebay, it is certainly not good practice for a manufacturer to undercut your own resellers, i.e. us, therefore I will make sure that this will be put right.

i didnt mean to upset you that was not the intension i just wanted to make you aware of the fact my appologies
