Exhausts
Looking at getting some new cans, any suggestions?!?!
|
MTC cans are the supported manufacturer on the forum, its use to be Carbon Can Company (CCC) but that fell through with the changing ownership.
Anyway have a look at the MTC website and get in contact with captomoto for a discount code. I they should be cheapest with the discount but that doesnt mean a lower quality can. They do a fair amount of shapes and lengths so take a gander at there website. Hopefully someone will be along who owns a pair and can tell you what they are like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE8VboqEjsY |

Brilliant thanks alot, I will ask Captomoto now and see what can be done!
would you say the exhausts have effected your bikes handling atall? |

Put MTC's on within a week or so of owning my XTX nearly 2 years ago, really couldn't be happier with them in every way.
So happy that I've enquired if they'll be producing an after market exhaust for what I hope will by my next bike before I've even got anywhere near purchasing it. |
Handling
Not really, the stock exhausts are a bit heavier but unless your names Mr Rossi i dont think you will really notice to much difference in handling difference. I think the main thing is they free up the engine and allow it to spin up more. They dont really make much difference in overall power but open up a bit of torque in the mid range. If your looking at some more power take a search for the kev fuel mod and DNA stg 2 filter. The filter allows alot more air into the engine which makes a huge difference to the power and feel of the bike. |
