oozing oil checks!
 

Hi guys

A bit of a random one about engine oil

im wondering what you guys do when checking the level, how long do you let it run for and how long do you let it cool for?

the reason why i ask is
the last time i posted this question a chap said he let his cool for 10 seconds!? and i let mine run for 15 minutes, then when it comes to removing the cap, if i take the cap of at any point under approx 5 minutes oil oozes out everywhere, i have to wait the 5 minutes, but im not sure if this is giving me an accurate reading as the manual says a few minutes?
