I only ordered it on sunday night, came from across the other side of the country and arrived at my doorstep 2 and a half days later, not bad service I reckon.

I believe the topcase is 38L, at least big enough for a helmet.

It costed me about 320 for the complete set (luggage rack, adapter plate and case)

roswellj 03-03-11 10:43

38L they are. Cost me about $460 australian which was for the box, mounting bracket and the locks which is relatively cheap here compared to other alternatives. It's all SW motech, their stuff is superior to the competition in my opinion.

Nelis it was the pics of your bike that got me wanting the black trax top box and panniers. Just need to save up a bit for the panniers now.
What size panniers are on yours? and are you happy with how they have held up?

Nelis 03-03-11 21:41

My panniers are the smallest available (dont know how many L's)
They are just as wide as the handlebar, so no problems at traffic jams.

Enough room for my needs (even got some spare :))
No problems with oxidating or leaking when driving thru hard rain.

I would also consider buying them for the next bike.
At first i wanted Touratech's but they cost twice as much.

Welcome to the SW-Motech club.
roswellj, I'll make the same question I did to Nelis: How did you manage to secure the box to the plastic support? :D
