Ultimate dualsport tires

Hi!
I am asking my self that question for a while now...

I mostly use Mitas tires on my Tenere. We ride a lot of difficult enduro on trails and all kind of terrain. I found Mitas tires wery cheap and quite good. But I did not use any other brand on Tenere yet, so its difficult to be objective about the quality of Mitas.

Ussually I use Mitas CO2 in rear:

And EF08 in front:

On terrain I like this set very much. I can do and go over any terrain.

I dont mind if on road / tarmac this set is not very good, because I dont need/want to ride very fast on tarmac/traffic.

But it started to bother me that this set is very soft and I have to change tires every 2000 kilometers. And if I ride them a little on tarmac (especially the front) the tires are eaten extremely fast. So when I run out of half of profile I have to change them again very soon, since I loose the best of the tires.

So the questions is not what is the best tire for on and off road,
but:

What is the best tire for off road, and is not eaten too fast on tarmac road?

I am sure you folks have some experience with this and will give me some good sugestions.
Thanks!

PS: please post pictures when naming brands and models.

Your changing them way to early ,the Mitas still have plenty of grip when they are half worn and as you said you have done 2000km on half a tyre ,you should get another 1500 - 2000 km before they become useless
