yip, with your service mate!

so can you tell us anymore about it? or is it a case of its so new, you don't know much more about it?

Since i have the Rapid bike 3 installed , will this mod work one my xt ?

Kev 08-02-11 22:21

You can not buy one unless you give your serial number from your Power Commander when ordering.

My new O2 mod will work with a Rapid bike 3 ECU.

Great kev , keep me posted when its out

Kev 25-02-11 03:50

My new O2 mod has been out for the past few months.

A bit more info on what the new dynojet O2 controller actually does. I would like to thank Martin at Dynojet UK for sending me this information.

The new style O2 optimise's have just been release, part no 76125028.

These work a little bit different to the traditional O2 eliminators, in that they work in-conjunction with the stock O2 sensor, not disabling it. In effect the bike still runs closed loop in the lower throttle openings, however rather that aiming for 14.7:1 AFR the optimiser trims the signal and forces the bike to aim for 13.6:1 AFR in its closed loop area.

This is a great device for most bikes, but if you want to map your bike around 13.2:1 A/F ratio where we know the XT produces it's most HP then this mod will be lean in the closed loop circuit at 13.6:1, so in effect the fuel map will run rich then lean as it switch's between closed & open loop circuits. If your bike is mapped at 13.6:1 the fuel map will be perfect & run smoothly.

My New O2 mod completely turns off the closed loop circuit so you can map to any A/F ratio, with the ECU forced to stay in the open loop all the time.

I know which one I'd buy....Kev's is far better:bunny:

Dynojets' one seems to have REDUCED the surging, but not eliminated it (is that right?)........and you can't map where you want for optimum fuel economy or performance either.

It's nice to know the facts & to have a choice.

It is funny that Dynojet made this eliminator that actually will work good without any need for power commander but they sell it only for PC owners

Lazer 15-06-17 03:30

Has anyone tried changing the AFR with these?

On the instruction sheet that came with it they mention to call the support number if you wish to change the AFR, so i wandered if it would be better with the same one Kev uses in his mod?

Cheers
