Stebel Magnum Compact Horn 6.70

I have just ordered one of these from Ebay...my standard horn is a bit pathetic, and I hope this will be a bit louder.

It looks like a simple fit on the "R", in fact I think it may just be a straight swap-over, and for the price I think it is worth giving it a go.

Will I need better/upgraded wiring for this due to the higher output?

I put one on my old ZZR250 and to say the least there were a few peope looking about for a truck when i let that think rip. However it is a bit bulky and you might want to so a wee search as they are suppose to have created a compact version which should fit easier

I've got one and they're great. Just use the exsisting horn connectors.

will fit it this w/end matt...I have tested it, and I can't say it's any louder than the OE. I had hoped it would be a little louder than it is.

It has a deeper pitch though.

Was a long day!!!!:moonshine[1]:

My old larger version needed a relay for it work and even then it uses a larger amount of the battery to power it, ok when going a bit, but at a stand still would properly dim all the lights on the bike. But then again I was only 17 and everyone back then needed a good old horn tootting!!!

lol maxwell..:moonshine[1]:

if your one had a relay it was probably alot more powerful.

Is the horn output restricted by the wiring thickness?

if so......I was thinking welding cable....:hae18:

It fitted snugly where the O.E. horn is..check that you can get full steering lock!
