360mm Front Rotor project

Right guys Kev needs a new project, does anyone have any links to where I can find a 360mm front disc/rotor that might fit my XTX.

I have contacted a company in China that makes most of the motorcycle industries rotors & hope to get a reply early next year.

how did you go with this Kev? any luck? im in asia now and return to Oz in jan. Ive seen plenty of discs in the shops here big and sexy looking too. mate do you know if your disc is the same as the 660r disc? (I think its 295mm).

would it be possible to send me (or post one here) a template of the disc so I could use it as a sample to match up a local disc?

I could not find a rotor that would fit the XT660's front hub.

Hi kev I thought you got sold your xt for the ktm? I know some motard here in Adelaide have big discs but ended up milling a plate for calipers to fit and stand was to small....just thought what about a buell front wheel that has disc running next to rim

Yet I now ride a KTM 990 SMR, this post is a year old.

It would be easy to make up a caliper bracket, it was the rotor hole pattern I could not match.

Trouble with a big disc, you can't get the bike turned when your on the brake, really need a radial caliper and a fork leg to go with it on a full floating stock sized disc!!!
