Raptor 700 header on a xt 660 r?
 

hi everyone, does anyone know if the header pipes from a Raptor 700 fit on the xt 660r? if they fit, i'm planing to make my own 2-1 system. did anyone tried it before? thanks again

hi kev, i did have a look, i have the cd from you as well, i can see a custom made one the header from the raptor and the rest from a diferent one, this is what i want to do as well, but i want to find if the header from the raptor fits without any major problems. thanks again and have a great 2011

They do fit but need to be cut & welded near the rear brake reservoir to get behind the frame, the lower radiator pipe needs to rapped with heat cloth or the hose re-directed. I did have some photos with the Raptor 700 header on a XTX, I will look for them for you, here you go.
