I have no idea what this is about but secret sources passed me this brochure for the 2012 Super Ten, I can't see any difference. Except the black Raven colour, feel free to click below and download it.

I liked the world crosser version at the show with the carbon and twin fuel tanks.

Is that rust on the spokes on picture five or a special effect???

A quick Google shows that it appears to be the advance release/purchase opportunity for the USA (reported there from beginning of Sept) - available " to the U.S. in mid-2011 as the early-release 2012 model".
So basically a late inaugural release model for 2011 so they call it an early 2012 model.....

More marketing hocus-pocus......?? (Not that I'm a cynic!!)

No, thats the spokes they should have put on in the first place.

They are likely stainless steel and gold anodised like these that I am going to get for mine....

The sad truth is that they are about 150. Cheaper than the original Yamaha crappy ones (165 IIRC).

Mine look great after the SS spokes and nipples replaced the rusty ones. The rear spokes are slightly larger as per spoke makers recommendation for extra strength. Worth the money though and easy to clean
