I've been all around the house's tyre wise,I don't think I've come across a bike with the ability to shred tyres like an XT and I run 3 other bigger bikes!!

Road Smarts are the answer.

What version have you got?

Ive the R and get at least 5-6k miles to a rear with some pretty rash riding.

Xt660x,I run Road Smarts on other bikes,it was a bit too obvious to use e'm I guess!!.
