TeneretTank protection from keys
We all agree that the Tenere Tank is a sexy thing to look at (especially in red):toothy12:
What I am concerned about is that if I keep another key with the bike key on the same ring then it is going to ruin the tank as it will bounce about all over the paint due to the Ign switch location up at the front of the tank. Anyone know if there is a sculpted tank protector to fit in this area or do you all just keep your other keys seperate? If none is available then I might well be able to have some made, would this be a popular thing? Al. |
I mean tenere tank protection but can't seem to edit my typo!

Get down your local camping shop (or even pound shop) and buy one of these. Ignition keys and house keys on separate rings, and just clip the bike key back on when you stop.

Just the one key
I have just the one key for the bike, I too worry about the damage they would do.
The other key I carry, the house one, is around my neck on a lanyard - you can pretty much pick these up free from most shows, courses, and even some shops. |
