Dyno Runs

OK, so most of us want to get our bike on the DYNO, get the mix just right.
But after seeing a few dyno runs of different bikes, I can't help but wonder how bad for your bike it is. ?
Is it that if your bike is not too old but nicely run in and you have good coolant and oil, clean enough filters, a drivechain that isn't rusted to bits and you warmed it up nicely on the way to the dyno center then there shouldn't be anything to worry about?
Those 80% and 100% throttle runs do make the bike work :p
I've never hit the rev limiter when riding, am I doing something wrong? :headbang:

So long as the bike is warmed up and in reasonably good condition, adequate cooling to it, does the bike no harm to be revved like that in moderation.

Why would engineers design an engine to rev to 7000rpm if they knew it couldn't handle it? It'd be a massive safety lawsuit on their hands if engines started blowing up!

I often rev the guts out of mine and hit the limiter in the lower gears, hald the reason why there's a limiter!

Personally, I'd love the bike to rev higher like my old DR350, 9k rpm for a 385cc single!
