Check out post #3 I had to laugh but the ingenuity is bathing in awesomeness! |
ooh eck...I would use a spade too....and jump on it...:smilies0349:so what's so funny Daz?
Maybe its time for me to move back into a town....:hidesbehindsofa[1]: |
I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a pointy stick than change my own tyres. I've done it a couple of times and the amount of sweat, cursing, grazed knuckles and wasted time never justified the couple of quid a proper fitter would charge.

...last time i asked, and that was (cough) not that long ago, quoted nearly 40 quid....

The pictures in the 3rd post. The expensive version of the tool... (some nifty metal gadget) and the cheap version of the tool... (2 pieces of wood under a car) |
I would have roller the car tyre over the bikes tyre to break the bead.

Yeah, but you're at risk of pinching the inner tube! Saying that though, another good one I heard of was using a car jack. Put the wheel under the car and put a jack between the car and wheel, jack away and it breaks the bead like that. |
Many ways to skin a cat.
