Single exhaust question

Due to the bolt/nut undoing, the clasp that secures the right hand silencer to my bike is loose. What effect would there be if I removed the right silencer completely and had a straight pipe to the pipe on the left?

Very Noisey

how noisy would we be talking? I've found that one of the exhausts doesn't get very hot (if at all) I guess because the pipework leading to it is a right angle H rather than a Y so it restricts air flow.

More noise, more torque, less Hp up top.

H connectors in a exhaust are no good if you are looking for a free flow pipe.

Love the look of the pipes there, i would say as long as you blank off the right hand side exhaust properly you should be ok. Might need to fiddle with fuelling with a kev mod or PC5 to get the best from the engine.

I've spoken with a local motorbike shop and they are going to knock me up the single box pipework so it'll be nice and freeflowing. I've already got Kev's stage 3 fuel mod to go with the stage 3 DNA set up so I should be able to set it up right.

I'll report back with my findings.

Could've bought a single link pipe from me...
Anyway, a single pipe would have ben what I would've suggested, right after suggesting you bought a new clamp for your existing system.
