changing handle bar position on XTR
 

I was thinking of adjusting the bar position for more comfort (like I've done on my mountain bike).
Rotate it down so I have an easier reach.
Prob is that the clutch & brake levers point more upwards which would put more strain on the wrist specially when standing on the pegs off roading.

Has anybody successfully done both adjustment or knows of any problematic side effect?

Change the profile of your bars there are many bends around these days.
