XTX service list. 9000miles ish.
 

Right guys,

Lets assume i have the XTX and am doing the servicing myself. Over winter i'll be stripping the beast down and getting things like valve clearances done, oil and filter, brake fluid, chain and sprocket... but... What else is left on a service on one of these ?

Coolant flush ?

Bearings are fine in the wheels, as are the head bearings...

It's has a new irridium plug, new fork oil..

What's left that i'm missing ?

Ive 40k miles on mine and havent really done much apart from oil + filter, cleaning and priming the air filters (stg 1 and 2 perfomance) checking the values and thats it. I got the brake fulid changed when i feel its necessary or very dark. I normally go by the phrase if it isnt broke......

Do whatever it says in the owners manual...

You could throw a lick of paint onto the swingarm and the underside of the petrol tank - mine are well rusty after just 8k miles.
