Hee hee - it was the only picture I had with the stand x

a tank, a seat and a rear wheel missing and you start wondering what you've paid for ... the girl looks anorexic.

I used Micron front and rear stands on the R1. On the rear I used the bobbins and hook method.

I was slightly disappointed that the XT doesn't have the threads for the bobbins to screw in and had to change the hooks for the rubber cradles.

Anyone else use this method?

Also, I remember R&G made rear axle bobbins which could be used with the paddock stands.

Any suggestions?

I've had the Yamaha centre stand put on the bike and it does the job very well for all those rear access needs :eusa_whistle:
