Hey Melbourne guys anyone interested in another group ride while the weather is still decent??? late march sometime?

Thought you'd never ask! Yes the last weekend of March 26-27 is fine. Or weekend before Sunday 20th?

And any time in between that anyone wants to get out for a blast, the more the merrier! I have been doing a few weekday afternoon rides up the twisty mountain highway to Sassafras while the weather is nice and it's day light savings.

Saturday two of us are doing a ride through Warburton forest.

Sunday I will ride down to P.Island as the Superbikes are on, general admin is just $15 and you ride around the grassed spectator areas to find your choice of viewing area.

I would be good to have a couple of contacts for rides when ever a nice day presents it's self.

I would be happy to lead a dual-sport style trek through Warburton, Poweltown, Noojee areas or Big River out as far as Woods Point and south as far as the Thompson Reservoir, Rawson/Walhala area as I am familiar with these forests and all can be easily achieved in a day trip.

My XTR runs on the original Metzeler Tourence tyres so don't fear following me off road.

In march I am only free weekend of 19th/20th or the following weekend 26th/27th. I am happy to do dual sport.

On a different topic has anyone ridden the unsealed road section between falls creek and shannonvale? (bogong high plains rd to omeo hwy)? or ridden from Lakes Entrance to Jindabyne via Buchan, Brumby and Suggan Buggan? (Buchan-Bruthen rd, Suggan Buggan rd, snowy river rd then The Barry way)?I'm trying to plan a 3 day alpine region ride before it gets too cold up there. Anyone interested let me know. Prob 80% on road 20% off road. (guestimate only). So many twisty roads I'm salivating just thinking about it :-)

No I haven't riden those roads however I have looked at the area many times on the maps. I would like to do a Bush Hut exploration starting from Wulgulmerang/Suggan Buggan up towards Kosciusko which would be close to 100% off-road.

Has anyone tagged along on one of the Highlanders Mororcycle Club rides which leaves from Ringwood on a monthly basis? If so what's it like?

Hey everyone I dont know whats going on with this melbourne ride but...

I'm heading off on an overnight ride this coming Sun/Mon and wanted to put the word out if anyone is interested. I will be leaving from Wangaratta Sunday morning riding the great alpine rd almost the whole way to lakes entrance then going to Jindabyne. Monday I plan to go Jindabyne back to melbourne via falls creek. If anyone is interested in joining me let me know.

Also Friday I will be riding to wangaratta the long way probably 20% off road if anyone interested in that one either.
