Faast Flex anti-vibration bars
Hi everyone,
Great forum with loads of interesting stuff. Although I've had my Tenere for a year now this is my first post and dip into modding it. I bought the bike for touring and my journeys so far have identified some of the same problems as you have been addressing - numb bum from the seat, lots of wind buffeting and noise and also vibration through the bars leading to numb fingers. I want to cure these now and particularly the vibes. Does anyone know if these (rather expensive) Flex bars work with the Tenere and what size/rise do I need to get - what degrees and rise are the originals? The TT website sells some bars with different angles but no anti-vibe. I'm 188cm (6ft 2) if it helps. Also, what is the recommended exhaust to fit on. I was hoping for a few more horses for the overtakes but nothing too noisy. Thanks for any advice. Peter |

Welcome to your first post I bought the bike for touring and my journeys so far have identified some of the same problems as you have been addressing - numb bum from the seat, lots of wind buffeting and noise and also vibration through the bars leading to numb fingers. I want to cure these now and particularly the vibes. Does anyone know if these (rather expensive) Flex bars work with the Tenere and what size/rise do I need to get I do not know of anyone using them on a XT660, the Raptor boys use them alot & like them - what degrees and rise are the originals? Not sure on the XTZ bars. The TT website sells some bars with different angles but no anti-vibe. I'm 188cm (6ft 2) if it helps. Also, what is the recommended exhaust to fit on. Thanks for any advice. Peter |
