A Fantastic Sunset Ride
 

Its at times like these that you can only wonder at how it can get better. Went for a ride this evening to post some letters (the long route) as the sunset looked as though it might have potential. On the way to the post office even managed a couple of dusty dry green lanes. Have to say that this dry spell does reduce the cleaning.

Anyway after a soul lifting ride I thought I would share a couple of pictures. Hope you don't mind.

Taken from a spot locally called 'The view'. With the setting sun you can't quite see the sea but its there.

This is a spot called Le Grand Port (say it with a French acent).

And finally, Lihou Island. A Tidal access Island 400 metres from Guernsey of which I have the dubious honour of being the warden.

Wow - great pictures and what a wonderful place to be.

I'm now inspired and will take the Ten' out and post some laning pic's later today if all goes to plan....

No castles by sunset, but a good trail ride nevertheless.

i like the photo with "the view"...must be the first pic with the Ten in....
