A Fantastic Sunset Ride
Its at times like these that you can only wonder at how it can get better. Went for a ride this evening to post some letters (the long route) as the sunset looked as though it might have potential. On the way to the post office even managed a couple of dusty dry green lanes. Have to say that this dry spell does reduce the cleaning.
Anyway after a soul lifting ride I thought I would share a couple of pictures. Hope you don't mind. http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...0Z/TheView.jpg Taken from a spot locally called 'The view'. With the setting sun you can't quite see the sea but its there. http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x.../GrandPort.jpg This is a spot called Le Grand Port (say it with a French acent). http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...ayatsunset.jpg And finally, Lihou Island. A Tidal access Island 400 metres from Guernsey of which I have the dubious honour of being the warden. Hope all of you are having as good a weather spell as us. Cheers |

Its funny how a bit of sunshine can change something that you see every day and take for granted into something quite breathtaking.:sunny:
