1st off road with the Tenere (swedish army tryes)

Right I thought that I had better get some practise in for my 800 miles off road trip in France in June (Red ball run). I have had the 660Z now for just under a year I fitted some Trellborg Army Specials about 900 miles ago and I had never ridden the Ten off road before this Video clip, ( the last time I rode off road was over 2 years ago and that was on a much lighter bike KTM 300 in the Weston Beach race), so about 6.30pm I nipped out to a local green lane and had ride. Apart from the weight I thought it handle fairly well ( I had set the suspension up for my style of riding ).

And as you will see the tyres handle well on the road as well.

Looking forward to France in June

Sorry guys I have removed the clip

I like the video. What camera are you using?
How did the tryes get on without rim locks?
If that wasn't enough questions that screen doesn't look like the original from that video what have you fitted?

Looks like you had a lot of fun.

Rim locks not needed if you are not running with low pressure in the tyres. I have 25 in the front and 28 in the rear.

Camera is the micro MUVI Camera with a class 6 memory card.

The screen is the Metal Mule High tinted screen.

Glad to be of help :HappyRoll_ANPIUI:

Great video. You clearly have a lot more balls/other experience than me in my first outings!

Where did you mount the Muvi camera? I'm thinking of getting one but trying to work out how best to attach it to my helmet idealy.

I fitted it to the bottom front of the helmet. I can remove it and leave the mounting on the helmet.

Hope that helps you.

Yes Mike, I was pleasantly surprised at the way she handle hence the slightly quicker pace coming back down the lane. :angel4:
