Shock removal, anything i need to know ?
Was looking at the new bike the today and it was being cleaned and made nice again.
Next on the list is the rear shock. Due to access and positions i rekon it's probably easier to whip it off and clean it. I assume you boys have done this so, anything i need to know ? Taking it out from the bottom or the top ? Cheers gents. |
On a Tenere? It will take you ages! - you have to take the rear section of the exhaust off (and the mid-pipe as I recall), and taking the stock rear exhaust section off is a faff in itself...
If you have the workshop manual download, it is pretty straight forward though... J xx |
sorry mate, XTX.
