paddock stand bobbins

My 660R doesn't have the normal screw thread for fitting bobbins.
I saw a picture of one which looked like the bike was fitted with them.
Was I imagining it or can it be done cause I find it much safer to lift the bobbins.
Any ideas?

The screw thread you refer to is actualy a length of threaded bar that goes right through the hollow spindle with a bobbin a washer and a lock nut on each end. Theres a link on here somewhere for the universal ones that I and several other members have fitted to our bikes. 18 to the door, you wont find better for the money, crash tested mine and they work too!!!!!!:laughing7:

Found it, http://members.multimania.co.uk/mgmo...h_bobbins.html

Email him first and ask for 6mm bar not the standard supplied 8mm.

Sent an email to find out about their product.
Their web site mainly talks about crash bobbins. I only need bobbins for use with paddock stands not not for crashing! Anyway I hope they have something suitable.
On the picture I was on about, the paddock stand bobbins were located under the swing arm forward of the rear axle
