paddock stand bobbins
My 660R doesn't have the normal screw thread for fitting bobbins.
I saw a picture of one which looked like the bike was fitted with them. Was I imagining it or can it be done cause I find it much safer to lift the bobbins. Any ideas? |
The screw thread you refer to is actualy a length of threaded bar that goes right through the hollow spindle with a bobbin a washer and a lock nut on each end. Theres a link on here somewhere for the universal ones that I and several other members have fitted to our bikes. 18 to the door, you wont find better for the money, crash tested mine and they work too!!!!!!:laughing7:

Found it,

Email him first and ask for 6mm bar not the standard supplied 8mm. |
thanks

Their web site mainly talks about crash bobbins. I only need bobbins for use with paddock stands not not for crashing! Anyway I hope they have something suitable. On the picture I was on about, the paddock stand bobbins were located under the swing arm forward of the rear axle |
