Now dropped it three times first time I had the cases on, and tried to turn too tightly from stationary outside the house. The bike as on the floor before I realised what had happened. Second time I was doing a bikesafe course and upon leaving the carpark for the afternoon rideout I got to the bottom of the ramp and stopped (vis was poor), went to put my foot down and the floor wasn't where I thought it was. Again I was on the floor and giggling before I could do anything about it (much to the amusement of the police biker couldn't stop laughing)
Third time was another stationary this time I wasn't even on it. Parked bike on a grassy slope, thought I'd knocked it into gear but it didn't take. I turned in time to see it roll forward and flip the sidestand up that one broke part of the pannier case clamping bracket so I need to get it plastic welded. Fortunately every time the damage has been minimal to non existent glad it wasn't a flashy sports bike with all those plastics just waiting to scratch and crack. |
Lucky his left leg wasn't broken or knee dislocated..

My was on ground number of times, hard to say. I can say its doin well.
The build quality is great. http://www.shrani.si/f/3/Et/3OJCbWec...75-800x600.jpg http://www.shrani.si/f/2A/7r/3UeFTJa...76-800x600.jpg http://www.shrani.si/f/1w/yG/b20tBpB...87-800x600.jpg http://www.shrani.si/f/31/5N/2XM5fml...04-800x600.jpg http://www.shrani.si/f/B/W/4MiloVOy/img2049-800x600.jpg http://www.shrani.si/f/3s/m1/1a3KmT7...o-tleh-oba.jpg These are really just some of them, which i found in a minute or two... I only broke a few brake and clutch levers, than I have put the barkbusters... two times bend rear brake lever, one broken side stand and thats all really. But I ride it really hard, I think harder than it is build for and is still doin great! |
I dropped my Ten twice so far. Once on the left and once on the right side. In both occasions at the standstill. I am tall enough, but if the bike accidentaly reaches certain angle from the vertical, it is virtually impossibile to prevent it from going all the way down on the side. All I could do was to try my best to slow it down.
Then with luggage and full tank of fuel it is quite a hard job to get it back from the ground if alone. |
