Best Tyres I've ever had & they are by far the most popular on this forum for the X. I guess if you are mainly gonna ride on the road they will be great & as they are a fairly chunky road tyre they will probably be ok off road providing you dont ride the difficult stuff. :sunny:

Dont go too mad at first, give them a hundred miles to scrub in. Also make sure your tyre pressures are the yamaha recommends and not the Avon recommends only I made that mistake and it was scarey to say the least.:tongue1:

Hi Nigel

You'll love the Distanzias I fitted some to my R last year and have had an excellent handling bike ever since, lots of grip in the dry and the wet!

I raved about them so much my mate has now ordered some for his FMX.

Hope you enjoy them!

Had a set on last year and worked fine for me, gave good feed back, gripped like sh*t to the bottom of your boots and gave a good amount of life. Just make sure to run them in before you start giving them stick, around 100miles or so.

I have just rode back from the bike shop now and the bike is 1000% transformed!! a real pleasure to ride, just got to run them in for 100 miles or so, really looking forward to getting out there. I love my XT660R. and my Avons.
