Shake Down

A few pic's following the mod's made since purchase, namely:

Snorkel removed, inlet trimmed
Regulator/Rectifier Connector waterproofed
K&N Air Filter
Kev's Fuel Mod
AIS Mod'
HEL Brakelines
Barkbusters
Pro Grips
Side stand switch removed
Pivot Pegz
R&G Tail Tidy
X Racing Silencer
Suspension adjusted

Suspension re valve / Bash plate / C.Stand / ARD Cases / HID / Engine guards and a few other bits planned -other that these, some knobblies and some proper riding needed.

Rides and sounds a treat, taking it easy for the run in and loooking forward to giving it some more revs...

I'm not sure I preffer the R&G rear lights over the OE ones, but that tail tidy doesn't have make the back end of the bike look like it means business!!

The original unit does indeed look OK. It's heavy, long and wobbles alot though..

Should look even more purposeful with some knobblies..

What are you planning suspension wise?

enduro374 29-01-10 13:08

Endurotech re-valve or Ohlins - both front and rear.

Chris Hockey re-valved my WR 450 suspension and the transformation was incredible, as was the air and ****e that came out of the original units!!

I'll take his advice..

I see. Be interested in what can be done with the stock forks. I can recommend a Nitron shock to you. Did Chris Hockey used to run Hockey Yamaha on the old Abergavenny road?

enduro374 29-01-10 16:37

Doubt it - he's a Colchester boy. Gavin Hockey Motorcycles is Chris' brother.

Chris is still a competitive enduro rider and ISDE regular.

Ah right, only wondered as it used to be just up the road.
