Bigger caliper for R
Hi all,
Has anyone found a replacement calipar for the R to improve the braking that is a straight swap, ie no brackets etc. I did a swap on my old RD350 using some from a FZ600 I think, the calipers had about 20% bigger pistons and went straight on. The brakes were much more poweful and had better feel too. Have had a search around but cannot find anything on here. There must be another bike with the same mounting points. OR Has anyone found a smaller dia. master cylinder. I really want to use second hand stuff to keep the cost down. Any help much appreciated. |
Silly question but have you tried putting on braided hoses?
Seemed to do the job on my R. Cheers Logan |
That is in the "pipe line" so to speak, but experience from other bikes indicates it may not be enough (for me).
Have just looked at the master cylinder size on my DRZ and it is 1.7mm smaller so I may try that. Thanks for the suggestion though. |
does anyone know if the XTX one will fit????
|
Sorry I don't.
