Kielder 2 Day Rally 12th & 13th June?
 

Anyone know about a 2 day rally in Kielder in june, someone posted a query on ukgser http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=216921

not that I think my offroad skills are up to it but may interest some.

I think that's referring to the Ryedale Rally, which I have heard of before but which it does seem to be a bit tricky to find out anything about. As far as I know it is meant to be an enduro/rally type event aimed at big dualsport bikes rather than smaller enduro machinery.

All of which sounds pretty interesting, although I'll reserve judgement about whether it's a stupid idea until more information comes out.

Wife Birthday on the 10th, and the daughters on the 15th.

There is no way I could get there and keep my goolies in place....

Ryedale is a different event, in Yorkshire.

There has been a Kielder two day rally before, but beer and too many blows to the head make me forget much about it. I think it was a 'road booky' navigation type event, not a marked course folla the flags cloud of two smoke enduro thing.

If it's aimed at big road traillies then one to keep an eye on for regs and more info, there's hardly any legal trails up there so a chance to ride is tempting.

Might pop along to the TRF next month and ask big Brian he knows everything, it's at Blaydon if you fancy a look Mac, or anyone?

Have the TRF moved to Blaydon? when I was a member(pre Nerc) it was held up anfield plain.

Blaydon Staffs Club on the first Wednesday.

Kielder Rally has been moved to the 17/18 July to avoid goshawk nesting restrictions. The route has been confirmed at 89 miles. Permits have been applied for and regs will be out soon.
