I had no issues with the quality of the HEL lines I stuck on my TDM. However, I ended up with three sets for the front, first ones too short to reach, second ones too long (the length wasn't quite enough to route them round some lugs near the caliper banjo bolts, third set way to long and looked rediculous)
In the end I never did get a set the right length, so they were bodged. For that privilage I lost two riding weekends, numerous calls emails and photoshopping of pictures to add dimensions and I paid full price.
The rear lines were okay length wise, but didn't have any rubber pads for where the clamps fit, so I had to bodge those too - though they did send a replacement set that was correct (1 out of 4 correct...)
The other issue was the badly scratched up banjo bolts that were supplied, they looked pretty crap (even though there was nothing physically wrong with them).
Would I buy HEL again. No. In fact, Hell No
