Simmi Performance - Tenere Exhaust
 

Following on from previous posts, I contacted Jeff @ Simmi today and talked through the single silencer for my Ten'.

Simmi needs the bike in Newcastle for around a week and whilst mine can be available I need to get it there and I'm hundreds of miles south!

Is there a Tenere owner in or around Newcastle that can lend their bike to Simmi? If not, Simmi will collect my bike and use that in a few weeks?

I notice mac - cos is from up that way maybe his arm can be twisted to show simmi his bike as it would probably benefit a lot of us.

A week with out my bike?! How very dare you!... :whipit: bad enough being snowed up.

Us northern boys like to ride year round you know, jeus, I've just SORN'd the XJR till the Spring and it feels like my arms been pulled off (even though I wouldn't ride it till the roads are clear of snow, ice and salt anyway..)


I'd really like to see and hear one of these pipes in the flesh as it were though as I'm sure others would - how about bringing it up to the Lakes in the Summer ??

Got me heated waistcoat and gloves lined up for a trip to work tommorrow. Lane is now only 4" of icy slush since it rained earlier.

I'd be quite happy to loan my R for a week while someone puts a single exhaust on it, I'd even deliver and collect it!
There must be someone with a z willing to help?

PS I have the original can Simmi can use to take measurements off as long as its returned in its original condition (sparkling like new as I took it off a week into ownership once the akras arrived).

I'm going to struggle to get my bike to and from Simmi now with various work commitments, so I've opted for the X Racing single pipe and will report back when it's all fitted.

Might be a good idea then to use your can (seeing as you have so many!)..
