Ive always used heated grips and if it didnt have the manufacture heated grips on the bike when i bought it i would put on Oxford heated grips, they are maybe not the fastest to heat up, hottest, sexiest etc etc

But they are popular for a reason they work and are simple to fit, basicall remove your old grips (might need to cut these off), twist on the new grips making sure to have the curved part of the cable away from stopping the levers moving and possibly a dab of glue, wire them up and enjoy the heat.

Should be able to find them for 40 or so

Try these,

Better in my humble opinion than Oxford, and you get to use your own grips.
Used them for many years on my off roader as well as my old XT

Heated Over grips

I recently fitted the oxford heated overgrips. Easy enough to do. I guess easy enough to remove in the summer too. They heat up pretty quick. 2 year guarantee. Got them from a company in N. Ireland called R F Linton & Son cost 41.89 inc postage. Very pleased with the result.:035:

Know them well, very good bike dealer and always seem to do the cheapest of everything. My mate got his Honda Varadero 125 from them and was chatting to the guy and they buy in a load of them and sell them off to other dealers who then add on like 500 or so.
