Raising the rear end

Does it work ok fitting the +35 link and not touching the front end or is there an inch of fork spare that can be slid through the yoke on these?

As you can guess there's not one sat on my drive yet to look at.

May never, just thinking aloud.

If your talking about the R kev made a set of rear raiser links, not 100% sure what the size of the link is but it raised the seat about 2inchs/5cm, but also rasied the end etc a little giving more ground clearance for off roading.

The front end is no problem just puts more pressure/wieght on the front tyre, so your front tyre will wear a bit quicker, you will feel it being easier to switch/turn quicker.

The only real down side is the chain start to run on the underside chain guide roller (those wee rubber rollers to stop the chain from slapping/moving about) it rolls on it all the time and can wear it out alot quicker.

Hi Ricky, bit of a delay in replying! But I'm back here looking at Tenere's again.
If you have raised yours and done other mods I wouldn't mind popping over and taking a look sometime.

Hi Jim, I have not raised the back of mine, but I have done a few mods.
I am leading a ride out next Sunday (9/05) with the UKGSers starting at Wickes in Taunton at 10.30, riding down to Lynmouth and will be passing thru Wivey around 10.45-11.00 ish if you want to join in.

Unfortunately I'm between nights next weekend so will be tucked up in bed trying to sleep. I'd like to pop over sometime to see what you've done. I have to sell the RT before I can buy anything and as I have a trip to Germany in 3 weeks time I can't really risk selling it before then and then not finding anything else.
