xr400 forks

I,ve just fitted a pair of xr 400 forks, caliper and wheel to the xt ,they went straight on no mods at all. and they,re fully adjustable.
As you can imagine they,re a great improvement

VERY INTERESTING! How much more clearance did you get? Are the forks fully adjustable? Did you change the clapms? I do a lot of off road and was thinking of changing the forks... Did you raise the rear susp as well? How about the front brake cable, is it long enough?

A few photos could help! Many thanks,

F

I'll second that. Would really love to see some pics of the XR400 forks fitted to the XT.

Hows the road handling?

I am pleased about your forks but beware not to get in trouble with the boss by trying to advertise parts for sale out of the official For Sale section which is only accessible to XT Supporters...

I am confused, the original post was in late 2009, someone dragged it up yesterday, did the O.P. edit the post to try and sell?

yes it confued everyone including me, it is a case of someone replying to a post 2 years old. :headhack:
