hey i just painted this light

will it be hard to fit? i like the looks of the XT as it is at the moment but not sure if i want to use it

Not sure ive seen anyone use this head light before on the XT, not too many people have changed the standard light from what i can remember. I think most are happy with the looks of the standard one but think it could do with a bit more light output for night use.

yeh dont get me wrong but i love the looks of it but i just got it sat arround and in to minds of selling it or using it but i think i shall sell it on,

there too many wires on the back i think

another quick question with the alarm i have the blinking light and a beep and a dubble beep when i hold the fob button down and it dosent do anything

is it easy to reprogram the alarm so it actuly works?

I've had one of these. The wiring from the light isn't bad, I believe the two outside are the main beam and the two inside are the high beam.

The problem with them is that their is no facility for a parking light! You don't really think about it but it is apparently an MOT requirment in the UK as it is considered a safety feature.

So, looks good but may not make the MOT. I swapped mine for something else before the MOT was due again.

This was on a streetfighter, not the XTX.
