DNA cleaning with K&N liquids

hello All,

just got my bike back from Yam service.

I realized that the mech "cleaned" my new DNA Stage 2. with K&N cleaner and oiled it with K&N liquid. (just 3000km).:021:

Also i "feel" a worse throttel response now.
Is there any problem if the DNA Filter get's serviced with the K&N stuff?

saludos,
Joe

hello mate,
don't worry about that. I used to have the K&N cleaning kit ( bought it years ago along with a K&N filter for my car) which I have been using to treat my DNA filters. Works great, no worries whatsoever..

I use K&N cleaner & oil, the bike shops around my area don't stock DNA cleaning products. I have never had any problems.

The filter may be over oiled slightly causing a over rich mixture, if it has been over oiled the oil will run into the air box & sort it self out over the next few days.
