could someone tell me if the immobiliser on the new tenere is a thatcham approved item. i have look in the manual and check websites but cannot find any info on it.

Hello mate,

From Yamaha after-sales bumpf I recall a leaflet inviting me upgrade to a 'full' Thacham-3 immobiliser+alarm combo, even though it already comes with Thacham-2 item as standard.

Might be wrong, but thats what I remember..
