As to date we have no confirmation that a PCV will cure the surging on a 08 XT. 07 to 09 have the exact same ECU connections, I can confirm that a 09 ECU has been fitted to a 07 XT in Australia with no problems.
There is not much difference between a PCIII & PCV on how the fuelling is set, the problem is the closed loop circuit when the ECU takes the reading from the O2 sensor this is the problem area.
I can confirm that Dyno Jet is testing a new O2 Eliminator for 07 to 09 models.
