I bought it @ OTR. Did a little customizing by myself, but mainly I bought the parts from OTR. All the original parts are unharmed. If you need a partslist pls let me know. greetings.

Nope. You would need a stroker crank to get that CC, the XT casings cant be bored that big alone. I am working on a building my own stroker crank at the moment.

Very nice cans efcarmo - they really show the marvellous sweeping 'nike tick' shape of the R to advantage. Your R shows how well the shape and wheels sizes make the R so good looking and the perspective angle enhances the effect wonderfully. :thumbsup[1]:

cost of the brand new trioval stainless steel cans(with removable DB killer): �65
workmanship: �40 (3 hours difficult job: piping, bending, welding...)
my personal level of satisfaction: 8/10

VitaminZ - could you post some more photos of the tube going from the waterpump? - on the pic above it looks a little better than the way it is on the XT660 - where it is flying in mid-air waiting to get hit and damaged by something :o)

Arrow 2 into 1 For XTX

I have never seen this before on an XTX. This bike was for sale in a local dealer and it had an Arrow 2 into 1 exhaust on it. Very nice system.

Not sure to laugh or cry,single pipe I like,but your still left with the 2 under pipes which I hate with a passion,hey ho.

i loved my 2-1 but must admit 2-2 does work and look best on XT

somebody ever tested this system? does it have any connection for the lambda?
i like the idea with 2-1 (looking for loosing weight and getting some space under) and looking for something good without paying to much.

That two-one system is called a Metal Mule 2-1. I think a few people have them...here is the link....

This exhaust system will give you better low end performance, and better ground clearance.

It has been proven that a 2-2 works better for top end performance, against current 2-1 systems.

However, I haven't seen a 2-1 system with longer primary pipes...yet. And that might work well.

better low end performence is something i really like, so that would be a good thing.

are there often problems with the heat at the pipes around the engine/watercooling and so on?
i thought about wrapping around som exhaustbandage (do not know the endlish word)

yes..exhaust bandage/ wrap would be the thing to do.....

okej, then some black one will do the job and still looks okej i think.

yes, they are pushed sideways through the distances (as passenger footrests)

I'll ask the same question,does it have a lamba connection?
