They can make any design you want, they make to order & fit to your bike so they will need the bike for a few days. If you find something you like take a photo with you. They are the cheapest exhaust fitters in Brisbane. Their work is of real good quality & the pipes work as well. Most of my mates have had a Cans made or a full system & not one complaint from them. I am keen for a ride anytime. |

Cheers mate.. just bought the XTX recently and need to hear a tune from her. Not a bad bike for a gentle squeeze in the bush (bar risers fitted) and seems to handle the 'Street & Bruce Highway' stuff nicely. Usual hack is a '97 gixxer 600 but roads up here more dirt/sand so... with a few mods i think the XTX will be a sick daily thrasher.

Also, it has been shown that having across over pipe mellows out the raspy “ricer” sound that occurs above 3000rpm. So leave it out & the bike will sound quite different. The bottom line is, you probably should have a cross over pipe on your bike exhaust, even though it is not needed. There is minor performance gain if you have one. Yes, you see a lot of bikes with no cross over. These are usually "Tuned Pipes" meaning their length and size are tuned to work with the S/T Pulse in such a way that reversion can not return to the engine before the exhaust cycle has ended & a cross over pipe is not needed. 2 into 1 pipes offer more low down torque & are great weight saving. 2 into 2 pipes offer better displacement of exhaust gas at higher RPM, this is a general rule. Most pipes can be tuned to give more torque & HP. In the end it's how the pipe is made to how much torque & HP it produces. Hope that helps. |
