That two-one system is called a Metal Mule 2-1. I think a few people have them...here is the link....

This exhaust system will give you better low end performance, and better ground clearance.

It has been proven that a 2-2 works better for top end performance, against current 2-1 systems.

However, I haven't seen a 2-1 system with longer primary pipes...yet. And that might work well.

better low end performence is something i really like, so that would be a good thing.

are there often problems with the heat at the pipes around the engine/watercooling and so on?
i thought about wrapping around som exhaustbandage (do not know the endlish word)

yes..exhaust bandage/ wrap would be the thing to do.....

yes, they are pushed sideways through the distances (as passenger footrests)
