looks very neat, and fits great by the looks f it. was it expensive?

coxwain 03-05-09 13:01

hi it fits great and think most satnavs will fit in it and theirs loads of padding to take up most or all of the shock and vibes i couldnt find the money for a bike satnav like the zumo/tomtom rider and this was a cheap way around it at 36.00

deiaccord 05-05-09 11:31

Looks very good, I'd be tempted to get one even if I did have a TomTom rider or Zumo 550 as I hear the vibes on the Ten are not too kind to them anyway.

Is there any extra storage in there for anything else (mobile phone etc?)

Edit: Managed to answer my own question. It does have a pocket for keys, Mobile phone etc accordign to givi.

yep theirs a fair bit of space/pockets for phones keys etc , ive got a garmin 2610 thats water proof and for the bike but its a pain in the ar8e to use and the tomtoms easy

franksy 05-05-09 21:57

Can I ask where you bought/ordered it from?
Also, is there access for the power lead to be used?

franksy

coxwain 05-05-09 22:44

yep theirs a zip on the bottom for the power lead to fit in , i got it via kawaski newcastle their a givi dealer

You'll have to lets us know how ya get on with this. I'm seriously thinking about a nav for the bike just cannot bring mesel to pay 400 for a bike specific one.

Becker do one thats semi waterproof for 180, but by the time you buy a cable, holder etc.....

ive been out on the bike over the bank hol weekend and used it all the time not just to find places just turned on , was out in the rain for about 20 mins and it was very heavy its was bone dry no probs , the touch screen worked ok really good, as you say 4 or 5 hundred is taking the p*ss when satnavs are now cheap as chips

Sartois 07-05-09 16:46

I've been debating whether a car satnav would do the job - all in all I'd say yes, but I really don't like having to look down at them, or have most of the car ones got a headphone jack so you can listen to them?
